A community leader from Roanoke plans to take two van loads of ex- felons to Richmond next week.

Shawn Hunter is the OutReach Community Director of Paradise Family Cathedral.

Hunter will lead the rally in support of Governor McAuliffe's executive order to restore the voting rights of more than 200,000 former felons.

That executive order is about to be challenged in Virginia's Supreme Court during a special session happening next Tuesday, July 19.

Hunter says on that day, there will be a Rights Restoration Rally and

Democracy Forum.

It all begins 8:00 a.m. at the Bell Tower, Capitol Grounds In Richmond.
