According to State Police, the driver of a Toyota FJ Cruiser was headed west on Snow Creek Road before crossing the center line and hitting a Harley-Davidson motorcycle going east. The crash caused the Toyota to leave the road and hit a tree.

The man and woman on the motorcycle were thrown from the bike and taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital by helicopter with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The Toyota’s driver was taken by ground ambulance to Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
